Well, I was up until 9am this morning, haha...So naturally I slept most of the day away. I woke up about 20 mins ago, which makes that around 4:15 or so, to a phone call. It was my mom and she said "I just thought you should know, your sister moved out this morning to go live with your dad." I was like "......wha??" It turns out...she's been sneaking out to see this boy she was forbidden to see. He's a drug addict, really violent, troubled guy who is always threatening to kill himself if she leaves him. Now, me..I'd have been like "How about I leave, and we see if you've got the balls, huh?" but I'm different like that..and if I was in an abusive relationship and wanted out, I doubt I'd much care if the bastard lived or died. But Rachael, eh, she's in "love". I don't think it's love when he's threatening to kill himself, or choking you, or threatening to hurt your friends and family. She's been sneaking out with him and my parents found out...so they waited up one night to see if he'd show, and he did around 4am this morning, and my stepdad beat the hell out of him. And so my sister decided she wants to go live with our dad. I don't know if it's because she thinks she can still see him when she moves away, or if it's because she actually wanted to be away from him...but I seriously doubt Dad is gonna put up with her crap either. My mom has been going through her room packing the rest of her stuff that she didn't have time to get and she found about 2 months worth of birth control pills...I hope she didn't get pregnant. Also, she found lots of other pills that she doesn't know anything about, she hopes she can take them to a doctor and s/he can tell her what they are. It kinda feels like everything back home just went nuts after I moved away, I guess that's why I feel kinda guilty about it all. Meh...I dunno what else to say...

((((((((((Steph)))))))))))) it's NOT your fault ! How old is your sister btw?

Thing is, the more you tell children not to do something the more they want to do it, unfortunately. And no matter how much you can see how wrong the relationship is it's up to her to realise it herself, and hopefully she will sooner rather than later. She might be hoping that living with her dad will ease the pressure but I'm sure he will have the same concerns and try to guide her as best he can. If it is a complete break she wants from her b/f then good on her for getting away...fingers crossed Keep us posted.

DO NOT blame yourself for this Steph, Your sister has got a mind of her own and will make her own mistakes, this would have probably happened whether you were at home or not! Hopefully moving to your Dad's she will realise what a Idiot he is and stay away from him!

She is 16, will be 17 in August. I hope she realizes something *shrug* and it probably would still have happened, but who knows...

Ok, well..my sister has been getting in touch with everyone she thinks she can get a place to sleep at so she can come back to town for spring break, behind my moms back, but one of them called and told mom about it, and long story short, Rachael can't come back to anyone's house except ours, and thats only because I am home this week. Rachael called mom and was all 'why cant i go anywhere' blah blah blah and mom told her that dad doesn't have custody of her, even if she does live there, and if she wants to come home and mom doesnt want her to go anywhere else, then she isnt going. So Rachael was very pissed off and said lots of stuff like 'i cant wait for dad to get custody of me' and 'you're such a bitch' and 'i dont wanna see stephanie, im not coming home' and stuff. I dunno what I ever did to her. It's total crap that she doesn't want to see me, I've never done anything to her. She pisses me off so much, and now I want to go up to my dad's house just so I can laugh in her face and say 'well, you saw me anyways, so HA!' and then take back all my cds that she stole. Geez..I'm just really mad right now..kinda hurt..its not fair that her stupid actions get to hurt everyone else.

I think Val is right Steph, she certainly sounds mad at something, and shes taking it out on those closest to her. It sounds like she could do with some professional help, someone to talk to, who can help her see things differently. It sounds like she is seeing everything badly, and thinking everyone is against her, when obviously it's the other way round. You all love her so much. Hopefully in time she will see sense, just be there for her if she does ask for help.
