My most precious toy of my chilhood had to be my Flyer skates...remember those? They were metal bottoms, that were adjustable so as your foot grew you made them longer. They had a red leather ankle strap with a buckle and a red leather lace up toe piece. I spent HOURS on these up and down the pavemements out our front along with my mates, flying round like loonatics lol. If a mate didn't have any, you'd share and have one each lol, so go scooting up the pavement trying to get the longest roll out of one foot as you could. Ohhh those were the days

Roller boots??? Lol, we just called them skates..I remember I used to go to the skating rink with my friends on Saturdays, or someone would rent the whole place for their birthday and we'd go have the parties there and skate for hours. So much fun! And then I got my rollerblades..which I was so much less good with, lol. I guess because they are in-line, instead of spread out like the other skates. _________________ Sometimes I don't think birds are really talking to each other.
