I've just read that 20th Century Fox has set a May 1, 2009 release date for the first spin–off from their successful X–Men trilogy. "X–Men Origins: Wolverine," starring Hugh Jackman, will be directed by Gavin Hood and begins shooting later this year.
"Wolverine" is expected to feature many other mutants –– some new to the film franchise and some from one or more of the three "X–Men" films.
The film explores Wolverine‘s violent and romantic past, and his complex relationship with Victor Creed and the ominous Weapon X program, as well as his encounters with other mutants.
Hood will start shooting in Australia before moving to New Zealand and, later, to New Orleans
Least the ladies will be happy if they get to see more of hugh Jackman

WOOHOOOO @ hugh hes gorgeous !!! Ok my hormones seem a little excitable at the moment lol.
Saying that, I loved the X-men Trilogy and can't wait to see this one! Thanks for bringing it to my attention, will have to keep our eyes peeled for it  |

I look forward to something that delves into wolverine's origin...
He has an adamantium reinforced skeleton and those claws  why???
Hope they base it on frank miller;s wolverine miniseries...
I love his catch phrase "I'm the best there is at what I do, but what I do isn't very nice"
OHH i could so spoil this ... let's just say his first name is Logan, he was once known as Weapon X... |
