"Karaoke"yes folks, call it music or call it crap, karaoke is here to stay. i believe it's origins are from the Japanese culture, where it's literally translated as "empty orchestra". i've been fool enough to do this on two occasions; once when i was very young  & a few times at a bar when i was very very drunk  [for anyone whose ever heard me "sing" i apologise!]
anyways, this little section i thought might be fun for folk to say which tracks they've 'sang' to karaoke, their favourite tracks, or videos of themselves or friends being popstars (!?)
me? 2004, karaoke bar, embarrassed myself well with Eternal Flame & Eye Of The Tiger!!

I've never ever done Karaoke before, and can't ever imagine that I will, unless I am SERIOUSLY drunk !!!!!

I would ABSOLUTELY LOVEEEEEEEE to get up and sing at a karaoke, unfortunatley I can't sing to save my life and would probably clear the venue out within 3 notes lol I'm always singing in the car, music full blast like some mad teenager where if I turn it up load enough even I can't hear how bad I am pmsl.
Hope others have some clips to post  Your drinking partner sounded good Skips! I remember my sis in law and niece got up one night in the Globe and sang Madonnas Crazy For You, only thing is, in between the words and out of embarrassment more than anything, they kept looking at each other when singing the words. What they didn't realise was, they looked like they were singing it to each other *wink wink* lol
Bravo to anyone brave enough !

I couldn't even hold a tune in a bucket lol
I can't even go to a karaoke bar on holiday I get embarrassed for the people when they can't sing and cringe with horror.
Give me a dance floor anyday.

o.k., so i seem to be the only one willing to post videos of my playmates making asses of themselves... i managed to find 30 seconds of Barbie Girl, performed melodically by Farmi, Kylie, Claire & Nicki at a holiday park near not-so-Great Yarmouth. "enjoy" (??)...
