Yeah he's awesome. This was the theme song to the movie Superman- the one with Christopher Reeve. 'Dylanish' works daxxx lol he's very 70s but I just love his singing. This was a rerecording done a few years ago and he has aged much in 30-40 years lol. I will post more songs by him you may recognize from when he was younger if I can find them Hope it works for you guys

I listened to gordon lightfoot in diapers.. I still remember the Gord's gold 8-track my mom had...
I love the songs 'sundown', 'wreck of the edmunds fitzgerald' ( do a youtube search
-- favorite lyric from sundown "I can see her lying back in her satin dress;
In a room where you do what you dont confess"
My Mom was a folkie at heart... we listened to folk as a grew up in the 70s Lightfoot, simon and garfunkel, joni mitchell, the kingston trio, pete seeger, and peter, paul and mary .

I also DO love that song. There is another one I like it is a little more hard to come by this is early, early Lightfoot ...but I found it on Youtube -

This song reminds me of my mom. altho a different video it reminds me of on the Plantation! but being from a 3rd world country maybe it was like that....(my mom and I used to listen to this song when I was a kid and dance around in the living room together! lol) She was enjoying her freedom in Canada and being a successful banker - She was an immigrant from Italy and her family escaped by boat from the war and managed to make it to Canada and they slaved away to make something of themselves ...they made it in the new country - the new world. This song reminds me of her.
