Heatwave set to hit Britain this weekend!Wooohoooooooooooo 'apparently' Britain will see highs of 25 degrees this weekend!! About bloody time I say. I am pretty skeptical mind you, but when I went outside this morning in my vest top to hang out my linen, it felt warm already!!! Yeeehawwwwwwwwwww I really hope they have got it right, the Bar B will just HAVE to come out

It has been too blooming cold for the time of the year.I hope the weather is about to turn for the better,then i will get out more taking my grandson for walks

Are you sure Serenity haha believe it , if it happens here yesterday lovely today rain ,overcast about 1/2hr of sun , but will get the shorts and chairs out ready !!!!!1

lol She lives within walking distance so she won't do any clogging I prefer to stay at home int he garden to be honest, but when its right hot, we like to go to the beach in the evening, its much quieter and nicer.
Well I heard the heatwave thingy on our local radio station yesterday morning, but when I checked the 7 day forecast I can't see anything near 25 degress  the highest I can see is 18...though I'll take that gladly lol, so who knows whats coming *sigh*...but they did say after a warm weekend it will be returning cold again NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!! grrrrrrrrrr

the beach is at the bottom of my street so i definitely won't be doing any clogging tyvm . 18 is good enough for me to head there so i'll be happy with that.

well its glorious here today and feels pretty warm too I am even wearing flip flops for the 1st time this yr woop woop. I looked too deb it said rain weds then sunny rest with hottest being friday i think

Yep if it's as hot as today I'll be happy! My back garden is always at least 10 degrees higher than outside of it, being South facing and sheltered Really must get some charcoal in ready! Mind you it was bloody freezing last night by 7 pm brrr

I just about fell over when I saw this topic! Old man winter has it out for northern Alberta this year. We had the worst April snow storm in decades. It snowed from Sunday straight thru til Tuesday and in all we got about 4 feet!
My mom was set to leave yesterday but her flight was cancelled so I had an extra day with her which was nice. With better weather today she was able to fly out this morning and is on her way back home to BC. I miss her already We had a wonderful visit and I can't wait to see her again...hopefully this summer.
Yup no heat wave in our neck of the woods that's for sure. It is still about 20 below and light snow. But the plows made their way last night and cleared off all the streets and highways.
It is sad tho..almost all the snow had melted last week and we could see lawn...now we gotta wait for 4 more feet of it to melt (sigh...  )
On the bright side, my new laptop arrived last week in perfect condition! I have been busy adding new programs and transferring my old data and exploring Vista etc which is keeping me busy

Bloody hell! 4 feet of snow....wer've had it pretty cold too Kris, but it's nothing compared to yours. Mind you after the warm weekend they have forecast night frosts for next week and returning to cold weather, it sure is crazy weather all over the word it seems

Well it's been a glorious day here , not to hot just comfy to be able to dig garden over ,cut grass, even cleaned windows without putting on to much of a sweat even got red arms and legs !!!!!

same here got garden sorted, then went for a stroll this early evening along the beach, sea air really hits you and soooooooooooooooo refreshing.

Wasn't it lovely! We had the Bar B although it had clouded up and dulled off by 6.30 ish. Could deffo do with a repeat of that ! Today its dull grey and forecast rain

I think you are right Stacey lol but although it's been changeable since, it was blinking warm today! I went up town with my jacket and scarf on and sweated my eyeballs out, it was baking up there.
