You know what, I'm amazed at how some people live! Seeings I've felt off colour, I've been watching day time tv and caught this programme twice now. I know everyone should live as they please but fgs, the state of some of these places is horrendous! It makes me want to puke just watching, so how on earth those two wenches stomach the actual smells of these places is beyond me lol. I will never ever say my house looks like a pigsty ever again lol, because compared to them, mine doesn't come close !

Does anyone watch this? Is anyones house as bad as the ones shown? ( i'll write in to Aggie and whatsherface if it is lol, I'm not offering help!! pmsl )

oh tell me about it debs, there are some filthy people out there. i am a little bit house proud, but as i usually work 6 days, on the 1 day off i have i am like a domestic whirlwind! and i have to say, it feels really good and satisfying (ok, so i'm sad!) when you sit down at night and everything is in order and organised. the rest of the week i just have a daily tickle round b4 work. dont get me wrong, as a lot of you will know, kids = mess and up until 7.00pm the kids toys are everywhere, there are wet towels all over the bathroom floor, empty crisp packets, empty cups, in the kitchen, but its a 5 min job to tidy up. at least i'm not a 'dirty beggar'!!

(i deteste ironing though, so that a different story altogether!!)

I've seen 3 episodes of this programme a while ago. The one's I have seen I can only say one word and that is filth. You could understand a little if the person was an invalid or unable to cope but that is not the case. It is just a build up due to laziness and the stuck on grime and dirt everywhere - in the kitchen and the bathroom Yuck - even the 2 women who were organising the clean-up looked disgusted - My house gets untidy particlarly when the grand children come but this programme is something else - A pig sty is cleaner

We all sound the same, everyone gets untidy and littery, but like you both said, it takes such little time to clear up at the end of the day, its not filth thats built up for months even years. I'm perplexed at how clean the people actually look though! There is no way on this earth that they can live in such filth and not absolutely ming to high heavens. Most of them seem to work, I'd hate to be their colleague yuckkk. Plus, how they've managed not to contract some serious illness beggars belief too lol

I saw one of the programmes a few months back ,it turned my stomach the woman had dead rotton mice on the floor faeces etc how she had the nerve to call in the tv programme beats me I would be so ashamed I'm not the tidest person but I now my house is clean gets done every saturday top to bottom , worst is the ironing only 2 of us but it mounts up but at least its clean hidden in the cupboard .
A few years back I used to clean houses and was asked to do this house as the mum had just had a baby and was struggling to keep it up together, ok easy , big mistake it was a small house 1 downstairs room ,kitchen bathroom ,bedroom , 2 hrs was all the lady would pay for be done in that time (whole house) it took 2hrs to do the bathroom alone in the end 3 of us went in to clean while she took baby out took 3hrs . we only went in the once ,that poor baby .

omg we used to watch it like a religion cos it was full of helpful tips, who woulda thought a bit of vinegar could clean almost anything? kim and aggie are great

Yeah I've watched 2 and all they use is household salt and lemon juice, even as a air freshener lol (diluted with water) amzing really, you don't need any of these fancy expensive detergents.

I've watched it loads of times, there are deffo some bad mingers out there!!!

I'm sometimes house proud, and then sometimes I just cant keep up with it and often expect Kim and Aggie to come knocking on my door lol
