I've made a decisionI've been telling my boys all thier lives to bring down their dirty laundry, I'm always saying it, at betime, at breakfast time, usually they do, but probs 2 out of ten times they don't. And seeings I'm a laundry freak, I go get if from their bedroom floors. Well this morning I walked in, Mart had left yesterdays clothes on the floor plus two towels from his shower, Scott one pair of tracky bottoms. Well instead of me picking them up to get them washed and ironed, I left them!! It was SOOO hard, and I know I'll end up worse off when they bring down two loads tomorrow, but sod it, from now on if it's not in the laundry basket downstairs, then I'm not going to search it out. I really hope they notice and mend their ways, but I wont hold my breath lol lets see if I can last out huh...

going by experience with 3 boys, it will get left there waiting for you to pick it up,
dont do it, hard i know but teach them a lesson .

My brother is 16, and he does his own washing and he cooks (and enjoys it). If I can only get him to stop flirting with every girl he sees and stay faithful to whoever he is seriously dating at any point in time, he'll be irresistible later down the road (and I can marry him off to some rich girl )

pfft! wait til they figure out that once all the towels are used up and they have no clothes to wear... then they will work out that you do it out of desperation!

Stick at it Debs
You are teaching them a valuble lesson for later on in life.If they don't do it now imagine the grief they'll get off G/F's or wives. Then they will wish they had listened

but like you said, they usualy only forget 2 times out of 10, so thats not really an achievement... come back when you have it down to getting the washing 10/10 times
