My Life With The Thrill Kill KultMY LIFE WITH THE THRILL KILL KULT (a.k.a: Thrill Kill Kult/TKK)
yes, i know what virtually all of you are asking... "who the f...?" they're one of my favourite bands & the only band left for me to see before i die (last time they toured the U.K. was supporting EMF in 1991!!).
the TKK began existence in the late 1980s, with their debut album being released in 1988, so they've been kicking about a while. their music varies in quality & genre, ranging from industrial metal, goth, disco, to hard techno!... they're not well known in the U.K., but have appeared on several movie soundtracks (The Crow they also perform in the film, Sliver, The Flintstones, Base-ket Ball, Showgirls & even early Brad Pitt flick Cool World)
& before you ask, yes, i think the whole load of them are gay (the two main blokes are Buzz McCoy & Groovie Mann, the backing singers are the Bomb Gang Girlz). i guarantee they won't be to most people's liking, but hey, i like to share.
this is a video from 1991/1992 Sex On Wheelz (it almost got in the UK singles chart!!?)

this one's Hit & Run Holiday (live 1995?) it's featured on a few soundtracks including Base-ket Ball & i think The Flintsones!!

and lastly (i won't torture you innocent folk any longer) here's one of their earliest tracks, A Daisy Chain 4 Satan, performed live in 2006

i don't mind you not liking or knowing them, i mean, if lots of people liked them you would've heard of them, maybe. make sense? does to me (?). unfortunately i couldn't find my fave track Disko Fleshpot, which's really disco-ish! it was my pleasure to enlighten your mind (hee hee hee!)
...and no, the first two songs are not the same. "i may be daft but i not stoopid!"

YIPPEE! someone who knows the T.K.K!!
actually i've never been a fan of Alice In Chains & only like a few Jane's Addiction (don't ask me to name them), but yeah, i was quite into Ministry in the early 90s, i prefer their stuff from late 80s & early 90s best; tracks like Stigmata, Jesus Built My Hotrod, Just One Fix, Land Of Rape & Honey, Breathe & the most excellent So What. though i couldn't get into their stuff after Psalm 69... as seemed too metal. in fact, i prefer the music of Ministry's all-star side project The Revolting Cocks more than theirs (Beers Steers & Queers is a corker!).

I spent sometime in the early to mid nineties listening to Ministry ...Jesus built my hotrod, NWO, etc... Psalm 69 record.. Land of Rape and Honey too... One of my fav album titles of all time is the "The brain is a terrible thing to taste"...
Jesus built my hotrod ministry
I was also into Nine Inch Nails, White Zombie and Rob Zombie, and primus...
head like a whole NIN
then i got into seattle music ( I went to university in Victoria, BC) ... alice in chains, mudhoney, nirvanna, temple of the dog, soundgarden
hunger strike --temple of the dog
