Well it seems pole dancing is becoming more and more popular, with more classes opening up around the country. None here yet that I know of. It's not just about dancing sexy round a pole, its a great way to keep fit and subtle apparently. You have to have strength. Its great for confidence and getting to know your own body too, along with all the benefits of keeping fit. I have to say, if there was a class around I'd like to try it, once over the intitial embarrassment I think it would be good fun, and what a way to get toned

Would any of you like to try it?

a little Skippy tip:
if you wear long PVC boots, apparently this stops you from sliding down the pole!!??
(don't ask where i know this from, i'm full of info.)

Yeah I've heard that too Deb. It seems to be the 'in' thing now. Women are taking pole dancing lessons and having poles constructed in their bedrooms to keep fit - as well as entertaining their hubbies at night time! I wouldn't do it (too shy) altho Don would probably want me to lol

Were going pole dancing in Liverpool in nov for angs hen nite , i have arranged for us to have 2hrs privately there will be about 16 of us and we cant wait. Fame is going to be our theme PMSL !!!! so out come my pink leg warmers

I saw an advert ages ago ..from a dance school or something that provides lessons in K.L.

I've done a hen night before were we did this ...most were shy to start but soon got into the swing of it - the over 50s were the maddest n baddest lol

in fact, a friend of mine actually has an extendible pole that fits between floor & ceiling. good way of practising "tricks" in private, but needs sufficient force on ceiling to stay in place - sensible as i am, i would fear for damaging the ceiling!!
(don't know where she got it from, possibly Ann Summers??)
