ReligionHinduism. Buddhism. Sikhism. Islam. Christianity and more. Religion is a big part of the world and millions of people follow a religion of some sort. Are you religious? If so, what do you believe? If you're not religious how do you feel about other people and what are your beliefs?

I've been brought up as C of E too. And although I'm not a church goer, I do believe there is more to life, and death. I believe in having children Christened and was actually Christened myself along with my eldest son, when he was a baby. I also like to think that loved ones who have passed away are somewhere other than the ground. I like to think their spirit is somewhere, even if it is within our memories
What I don't believe in, is religion being rammed down your throats by some sectors. Everyone should beleive in what they feel is right, and not be forced to believe or be forced to PROVE they believe. Some churches make you go to church to hear your bands read before marriage and to prove youre a Christian before they carry out a service. I think this is wrong. If you've asked to be married in Church, then this act alone should be good enough!

i go to funerals.
went to sister's church wedding.
had to go to nephew's christening - luckilly i refused to be a god-parent; they had to quote all this crap about encouraging him in later life to "follow the lord" etc... what a crock of brain-washing & he ain't even 1 yet!!

I never used to be religious, I was agnostic until I started going to the Way Cafe bible study groups with a friend of mine, then I started to really think about God. Now, I'm really into Christianity, but lately have been having doubts about things...I question everything, even outside of religion, so yeah. Idk what's going on in mah head, haha.

theres nothing wrong with worshipping who you want. as long as you dont go preaching to others that your religion is the best like some do. each to their own is my motto. and as long as it harms noone its ok.

totally agree. i've had religious door callers round telling me what to believe in, umm no, i'm Skippy nobody dictates what i should or shouldn't believe in. when they do this, i don't shut the door on them, i just play with them questioning their belief system & finding contradictions.... i'm just interested if they're able to defend their religions from my interrogation!!
