textsI was listening to the radio on the way home from town today, and people were admitting to how much texting they do from their mobile phones. One bloke text in, that he has a counter and had made 5.800 that month! Another woman admitted to spending £450 per month on texting too ...I was gobsmacked, thats a monthly wage for a lot of people! So I was wondering are you a textaholic? Do you have a good deal on your contract?
Me myself, I'm pay as you go, and put a tenner on my phone about once every three months lol perhaps only sending one or two texts per week. I'm way too tight to waste money willy nilly texting. I only text important things. Am I odd? lol

I'm payg to but now with O2 I put a tenner on a month and as long as I put money on before the end of the month I get 300 + FREE texts the more money I put the more free texts , with 02 the deal is called bolt ons . so I now do more texting than calls .

No, I don't text....I don't even ring if I don't really need to. My preferred method of communication is email.
When I was area supervisor, (before I resigned last month) I would get texts all the time from my cleaners, it drove me nuts! The words are so small and I had to keep running for my specs everytime I got a message, THEN I had to text back and I really don't like those little tiny buttons and the way it makes words for you...grrrrr. And before you say you can change that....I did change it, everytime I used it but it kept going back to the old for some reason...again...grrrrrr.
Sorry, we're not in the getting-on-goat thread now LOL.
Nope, give me email or else landlines. (Getting old and grumpy here)

I spend about £5 a month on my phone, use the web to contact people more than text, although its useful at times i guess.

wow £450 a month?? thats really bad lol. For me well it depends. On average I would say I spend £20 a month on my phone. I dont have many close friends and usualley when I text them its just to arrange where to meet etc.. but say if im dating a girl or in a relationship, the amount of txts I send rapidly increases lol.

I can imagine lol! People send me texts, but If my phone is in my bag, and I don't go to my bag for a couple of days, then I miss them!!! They usually phone and moan at me for not answering them and I say, I didn't know I had ONE lol
