Does anyone remember the 80's? Well I do lol and one of the biggest things back then, was the CB radio. Oh what fun. We'd sit for many an hour talking to people from all over the place, via a radio, like what truckers have in their cabs. My handle (name) was Toyah, and my hubbies was Fingers. We actually got talking on the CB radio, then met and an 'eyeball' disco. This was a weekly disco for all CBers to meet at.

My radio was a General Electric mark 5, with fairy lights, and I had a dv27 twig (aerial) then progressed to a huge jobby that went up on the chimney stack, it was an electric Onion lol what a name!

I remember sitting calling out 3 - 0 for a copy...which simply meant did anyone wanna chat, then youd flick between the 40 channels to have a one to one convo. Channel 40 was the channel where you could all go to join in with a mad convo, silly as you liked.

I remember a few phrases, like whats your 10-20....your location
'eyeball' was to meet face to face

Did anyone else have a CB? and can remember some of the terms used?
