I'm reading 'Rage' by Jonathan Kellerman. He is a famous american author and all his books are #1 New York bestsellers. This is the first book I've read by him and I'm really enjoying it. I found a few more of his books at our library so I'm eager to give them a read too. He is a clinical psychologist that specializes in adolescent violence. He writes mostly mysteries/legal thrillers based on true life crimes which are all very chilling and suspenseful. _________________

Well I'm ashamed to say I've only just finished Patricia Cornwells latest 'Book Of The Dead' it was that boring, I had to keep forcing myself to read on. I was more than disappointed, and shan't be bothering with anymore of her offerings. I hate being let down! Missed the Library van AGAIN, so will have to take a drive to the main Library or the sub sometime this week and pick up some of the books you've all mentioned _________________

I like books with a bit of a bite - no lovely dovey stuff but a number of authors
Dean Koontz, Wilbur Smith to name a few have recently been so disappointing with their last books - very rubbishy. I won't be adding any more to my collection from them. I often wonder if these are books that have been written before they became acclaimed authors and they are now churning them out similarly teh P Cornwell books _________________ >>>>>>>>

It does make you wonder doesn't it Hannah, or whether they can't come up with any good ideas so start reeling off these half hearted attempts because they are simply out of good ideas...all at our expense unfortunately! _________________

Kris's mom here - I was wondering if any of you care for Michael Connelly. His character Harry Bosch is quite interesting. A crime scene detective that always goes out on a limb for every case. Most are psychological thrillers.
Two of his titles are: The Narrows and The Poet. The Poet is excellent reading.
