I think it was more that I mixed my drinks - usually I stick to Archers and Lemonade, but I also had a big mouthful of Fosters and voddy and coke too.

The first movie I ever saw at a theatre I think was Star Wars or maybe it was Star Trek. Can't quite remember lol. I remember going with my parents and grandparents and secretly passing around homemade peanut brittle as snacks as my fuddy duddy grandma found paying for theatre food an abomination lol.
The first movie I remember going to see alone as a kid (well with my brother who is a year older than me) was either ET or 101 Dalmations. I remember trying not to cry at the end of ET in case my brother should notice and make fun of me as he so often did so I yawned and stretched my way through the ending without shedding a tear - and then looked over at my brother who was bawling his eyes out LMAO. Ahhh a wonderful trip down memory lane _________________

hi Shell,
first flick i saw at the pictures was probably Fox & The Hound; well, that's earliest one i remember seeing, it was way too many moons ago!! (i do remember i used to see several flicks at the Pilot cinema - the venue most recently known at Zoots!!!).
i think it was your typical disney type family pic, where fox & hound shouldn't be friends but become friends anyway (ooooh, them rebels!) & i think the fox probably got caught in a trap or died at the end, you know, typical slushy ending. _________________ "make a house a home" |

Are you sure you're only 30 Skippy? lol I remember the Pilot, used to like that better than the Majestic, shame they closed it down Fox and the Hound rings a bell, think I musta seen it on tv though. Funny when you see things at the flicks, that no matter how long ago it was, you still remember it! _________________

yep, Pilot cinema was cool, remember seeing Empire Strikes Back there.
first flick i remember at Majestic was probably Revolution (the Al Pacino flick that had Ricky from Eastenders in it...??), i know i suffered during the film, as big guy next to me was smoking cigars all the way through - how things change. _________________ "make a house a home" |
