Where and when did you meet your partner?

Yep made me tear up as well ... tho i have been very sentimental this last few days as it's a year since my partner n I finally met.

I remember being excited, happy n very very nervous- actually I was nearly sick lol - but it was the most romantic meeting.. it'll be something i'll remember til my dying day.

I'd arranged to go to Blackpool to meet my online friend of 7 years and it spiraled until all the members of the board wanted to come. Well I didn't want to meet Jason with everyone else, I knew it was going to be special n didn't want anyone else to make jokes or the blokes to make any crude or rude comments, so he said he'd meet me before everyone else('cept my mate) arrived.

We pulled up in the car outside the hotel and got out, went in checked in n put our bags into our rooms and then I got a text saying 'Where are you ? '
I said inside hotel n he sent one back saying that he was outside.
So out I trots feeling nervous, I didn't have butterflies I had bloody eagles in my tummylol.

I couldn't see him anywhere n then my fone rang, I answered it and it was Jason saying he could see me and to keep walking forward, I did then all of a sudden I saw him he was standing on the other side of the main seafront road leaning on the railings.
As I kept walking towards him he kept talking to me on the fone and when I stopped in front of him we hung up and he just reached over n hugged me tightly, I could hear n feel his heart beating, he slowly loosened his hold on me, looked down at me, said hello n kissed me, it was the sweetest thing anyone had ever done, n it made me cry. actually I'm welling up again lol..

During those 3 days we sent every waking moment together - well except when he got on that bungie ball thing on the pier - I love him but not that much lol.

Now a year later I've moved from Belfast to Norfolk and I still get butterflies when he texts me to say he's on his way home from work.

So I don't think your silly for falling for 'just a guy from the net' cause I did too and it's the best thing I've ever done.

lol @ the tall git n shortie....we're the same he's a foot taller than me.
