Right, I've phoned the bloodline to ask about medication I'm taking. HRT is fine, but the chappy has to query my anti - inflamatories since the spinal surgery even if it was a few years back. So I have to await a call.

21st -this Thursday really is out of the question Shirley. I've got shopping AM then I'm looking after Henry, then at 630 I have Marts parent evening at school. So it'll be too stressy trying to fit it in.

I have checked and the next available date is Tuesday 4 March in the church rooms opposite the doctors surgery. Which is only a couple of weeks away. I'll wait to hear from them about me being eligible to give blood, then if you want we can book ourselves in?

I'm not aloud to give blood because of my Parkinson's. I used to though got me silver medal. That's 50 pints for those that don't know.

i have been doing it for many years,plucked the courage up one day and went all on my own.couldnt believe i had done it.felt so pleased with myself afterwards.i had to stop while i was pregnant and had to wait til my son was 1yr before i could start again.i so far have donated 15 times.you do have to book an appointment now saves all the waiting around.mine is 1.15 on 12th may.might see you there???
