One thing you dont see about nowadays are dolls prams. Our street was full of us parading up and down with them, like a load of mini mums lol
I used to have a silvercross original. The big black old fashioned type. Two small wheels and two big ones. Leather straps- sprung body, with a ceramic handle. It was gorgeous, I had all the satin quilts and pillows and frills to go round. An embroidery Anglaise folding sunshade that had fringing that blew in the breeze. I was so proud of it. My dad had picked it up from somewhere and I'm sure if I'd have kept it it would have been worth loads now. No idea what happened to it

I remember I used to have a red pushchair and I loved it. I remember parading around the garden with it in my 'docka docka doos' (high heels) and a baby in the front. I also remember a little chair I used to have with wooden arms, a metal frame and a blue printed canvas. _________________ *Jade |

I never really had dolls and things. My grandparents and aunts and stuff tried to buy them for me because I'm a girl, but I was always more into ninja turtles and power rangers, lol. _________________ Sometimes I don't think birds are really talking to each other. Steph you sound just like Jodie when she was a kid, I was the girly girl, who wanted every doll there was, and was forever playing with my pram, and there she was beating boy's up and the like
I can remember my first pram, it was navy blue, and the wheel was always falling off!!! _________________ Shelley xx |
