High-calorie diet linked to boys

Do regular breakfasts boost baby boy numbers?
A woman's diet around the time of conception may influence the gender of her baby, research suggests.

The study suggests a high-calorie diet at this time - and regular breakfasts - might increase the odds of a boy.

The researchers say the modern trend to opt for low calorie diets might explain why the proportion of boys is falling in developed countries.

The researchers found 56% of women with the highest energy intake around the time of conception had boys, compared to just 45% among women with the lowest energy intake.

****Doesn't look THAT conclusive to me, but then again with all the old wives tales, like different sexual positions producing different genders, who knows lol..then again, its a good excuse to eat more!!!

wow thats well weird!
i'd probably like a girl though when its my time for kiddies, i dont eat a lot either so if thats true i probably might just get one

although not sure how it could explain people who have had both boys and girls and didn't do anything different?

i'd love to have a baby boy. i have two girls and now i am seriously thinking of having a boy. but with the economic crisis, i have to consider a lot of stuff
